  1. Provide 300 grams of chicken liver.
  2. Take as needed of Oil.
  3. Get 1 stick of cinnamon.
  4. Provide 2 pieces of clove.
  5. Prepare 3 pieces of cardamom.
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup of thinly sliced onion.
  7. Get 4 of smashed cloves of garlic.
  8. You need 1 of sliced tomato.
  9. Take 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  10. Use 1 1/2 tsp of chilli powder.
  11. Provide to taste of Salt.
  12. Use to taste of Sugar.
  13. You need 1 pinch of garam masala.

  1. Heat the oil in a deep pan.
  2. Add the cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
  3. Add the onion and saute it till the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Sprinkle a little water and add the smashed cloves of garlic and the tomato.
  5. Saute for about 2 minutes then add the turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
  6. When the masala is properly mixed, put in the pieces of liver and add a little water.
  7. Saute it till the masala is blended with the pieces of liver.
  8. Then add water and cover the pan with a lid.
  9. Leave it for sometime, stirring it occasionally..
  10. When the liver is is cooked and the gravy is thick and dry, add sugar and a pinch of garam masala.
  11. Stir it one final time.
  12. Serve.
